Coniglio(꼬닐리오)는 섬세한 감성과 독창적인 조형 언어로 주목받는 아티스트로, 인간 내면의 기억, 유년, 상상 속 존재들을 작가만의 따뜻한 감수성으로 풀어낸다.
그녀의 작업은 회화와 드로잉, 에세이 등 다양한 매체를 넘나들며,
시간과 공간 사이를 유영하는 듯한 그림들을 만들어낸다.
‘Coniglio’는 이탈리아어로 ‘토끼’를 뜻하며, 그녀의 예술 세계를 상징하는 중요한
모티프로도 자주 등장한다. 토끼는 유약하고 순수한 존재이자, 숨어있고 사라지는 환상의 대상이자 친구이기도 하다. 꼬닐리오 작가는 이러한 상징성을 바탕으로 어린 시절의 무의식, 꿈, 그리고 상처마저도 따뜻하게 감싸는 시각 언어를 구축해왔다.

Coniglio is an artist known for her delicate sensibility and distinctive visual language, exploring themes of memory, childhood, and imagined beings through a uniquely warm perspective. Her practice spans across painting, drawing, and essays, creating dreamlike scenes that drift between time and space.
The name “Coniglio,” meaning “rabbit” in Italian, serves as a recurring motif and symbolic anchor in her work. The rabbit, a fragile and innocent creature, also embodies a hidden, elusive fantasy—a silent companion. Through this symbol, Coniglio builds a visual language that gently embraces childhood memories, unconscious emotions, and even subtle wounds.
Her works invite viewers to dive into deeper emotional layers. With soft lines, warm palettes, and a hazy composition, she evokes the sensation of retracing long-forgotten memories.

꼬닐리오(Coniglio)는 섬세한 감정과 따뜻한 시선을 담아내는 작가 윤초혜의 작가명입니다.
부드러운 색감과 정돈된 구도, 그리고 반복적으로 등장하는 소녀(마리)와 인형 캐릭터(츄츄), 그리고 토끼(꼬닐리오)는 일상 속 감정을 조용히 건드리며, 보는 이로 하여금 잊고 있던 감각을 불러일으키는 사랑스럽고도 따뜻한 캐릭터들입니다.
꼬닐리오(Coniglio) 작가는 숙명여자대학교에서 환경디자인을 전공한 후, 이탈리아 밀라노 브레라 국립미술대학 (Accademia di belle Arti Brera)에서 그래픽 아트를 공부하며, 감성적이고도 직관적인 시각 언어를 구축해 왔습니다.
졸업 후 이탈리아에서 인테리어 디자이너로서의 커리어를 쌓으면서도, 그림책과 일러스트레이션 북을 통해 폭넓은 팬층도 확보하고 있습니다. 위즈덤하우스에서 출간한 But I still love you (2016), 이 순간이 끝나지 않았으면 해 (2017), 오늘은 나를 위한 날 (2018) 등의 책은 작가 특유의 따뜻한 시선을 책 속에 고스란히 담아낸 작품들입니다. 그녀의 작업은 Apple App Store, 와콤(Wacom), 템퍼(TEMPUR) 등 유명기업들과 협업하는 프로젝트에 참여하며 브랜드와 사회적 메시지를 감각적으로 연결해왔습니다. 출판과 미술을 넘나들며, 꼬닐리오는 '일상의 감정'을 포착하는 방식으로 자신만의 이야기를 지속적으로 이어가고 있습니다. 그녀의 작품은 현대사회에서 닫혀있던 감정을 환기시키고, 조용한 위로와 공감을 선사합니다.
갤러리효에서 개최되는 꼬닐리오의 4번째 개인전 < About Her> 는 작가가 그려온 ‘그녀’에 대한 이야기이자, 우리 모두의 일상 속에서 마주할 수 있는 감정, 생각들과 일상에 대한 기록입니다.
익숙하지만 미처 인식하지 못했던 순간, 머릿속 어딘가에 남아 있던 감각들이 따뜻한 색감과 부드러운 질감으로 재구성된 작품들로 탄생하였습니다.
이번 전시를 통해 관람객분들에게 각자의 이야기를 떠올릴 수 있는 시공간을 마련해 드리고자 하오니, 꼬닐리오의 작품들을 관람하시면서 우리들의 순간을 되돌아보고, 소소한 감정들을 되새기는 소중한 시간이 되시길 바랍니다.
Coniglio is the artist name of Yoon Cho-hye, known for her delicate emotions and warm, observant gaze. Her soft color palette, carefully composed scenes, and recurring characters—Mari, a quiet girl; Chuchu, a beloved doll; and Coniglio, the gentle rabbit—subtly touch on everyday emotions. These charming figures awaken forgotten feelings and senses within the viewer, offering comfort and quiet reflection.
After studying Environmental Design at Sookmyung Women’s University in Seoul, Yoon continued her artistic journey in Italy, where she studied Graphic Art at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. There, she developed a sensitive and intuitive visual language that bridges emotion and form.
While building a career in interior design in Italy, she also gained a loyal following through picture books and illustration projects. Her published works, including But I Still Love You (2016), I Wish This Moment Wouldn’t End (2017), and Today Is a Day for Me (2018), released by Wisdom House, beautifully capture her signature warmth and insight.
In addition to her books, Coniglio has collaborated on projects with major global brands such as Apple App Store, Wacom, and TEMPUR, thoughtfully weaving brand identity with emotional storytelling. By moving freely between illustration and fine art, she continues to build a unique narrative voice that quietly captures the emotional texture of everyday life.
Her work gently reawakens feelings that often lie dormant in our fast-paced modern world, offering subtle consolation and deep empathy.
Coniglio’s fourth solo exhibition at Gallery Hyo, About Her, is a personal and poetic reflection on the female figures she has drawn over the years. At the same time, it is a broader diary of feelings, thoughts, and fragments of daily life that we all experience.
Through familiar yet previously unrecognized moments—feelings that have remained tucked away somewhere in the mind—Coniglio reimagines these sensations in warm colors and soft textures.
